A member may participate in The New Yorker meeting without joining the book discussion. All essays, short stories, and books are chosen at each meeting by the group. In some cases the group may decided to devote multiple sessions to a book.

Our members are young, almost all in the range of 20 to 35 years old. Our meetings are usually informal group discussions at someone’s a …

Immodest Proposals is also a group for the appreciation of good wine, beer, and food. We select venues with affordable, sustainable options and then arrange for our m …

Meet kindred book lovers in the Rockland/Bergen County area.
