This group will read books on writing, write, think about and discuss topics of a nature not usually found in daily life, and if the spirit moves us, toast on it. We will have an assigned book each month and meet to talk about it. We will also have weekly writing dates to "Sit down, shut up and Write," and we will also see films and go to events that are interesting to discuss. We will also have scheduled cocktail dates.

A social group for the discussion and sharing of ideas on books, art, science, politics, world travel, languages and any other topics of interest.

Learning to dream walk, whether through lucid dreaming or astral projection. Will include meaning of dreams, Sufi practices, metaphysical philosophies and how to use dream material to enhance ordinary life. Plan to have informal discussions, review books and movies so group can discuss. Tolerant and harmonizing to any variety of opinions. Hope to share discoveries and meet new friends. (Wait... Checking to make sure I am not just dreaming this experience....... or are you dreaming this?).

… I expect the group to evolve depending upon the needs and interests of the members, but just for starters I'm thinking of book, movie and current event discussions, invited guests from the financial, academic and psychological worlds, general discussion and socializing, maybe even occasional shopping excursions if anyone discovers a great new resource or special sale events. It doesn't have to be a "man's world" any more if we don't want it to be!

… I've come to enjoy reading as a collaborative process because the discussion enhances my understanding to such a great degree. WHY? Because you miss college ... or didn't go to college but like to read good literature and stay up late talking about it ... Because you think language and ideas are important ... Because book clubs should kick ass.
